I’m Lanre, a product designer building for the moments when getting it wrong has a cost. Right now that’s at Summer, where I lead design and we help people in the US get out from under student debt. Before that I was the founding designer for Morressier’s Research Integrity product.

Now I spend more of my time building with AI, turning prototypes into working products with the teams I’m part of.

I started in Lagos as a mechanical engineer. My final-year project was a smart fish feeder with a companion app, and the app was the part I couldn’t stop thinking about. So in 2018 I moved into design: payments at SystemSpecs first, then the software underneath Nigeria’s banks at SBSC, a CRM for NIBSS and a procurement platform that ran across Keystone Bank’s 154 branches. Those years gave me the one thing all my work shares: the interface is where trust is won or lost.

These days most of my work runs across design and code. At Summer that has meant Mosaic, an accessibility-first design system that three teams ship on, and the reason Summer could commit to WCAG 2.2 AA for its New York City partnership. I keep its Storybook library in step with engineering, prototype with Claude, and write what we decide back into Figma so nothing gets lost. On the side I’ve led product on Ophy AI, an AI career assistant live in 17 countries, built Dreven, an AI-assisted accessibility auditor, and run a small web studio for care providers in Texas.

I’m in Toptal’s top 3%, judged the IP Awards in 2025, and the Morressier integrity product was an ALPSP Innovation Award finalist in 2024. When I’m not working you’ll find me in FIFA or God of War, or somewhere new with a Fujifilm X-T5: Kenya, Portugal, Tunisia, Lebanon and Albania so far.
